Should you join Wealthy Affiliate?
First of all what is Wealthy Affiliate? It’s a huge website for new online enterpreneurs and bloggers who want to create a successful website and make a living out of it. It has over 1 million members, affiliate marketers, bloggers, website builders. And let me tell you, you won’t find one single honest review about it online, here is why.
Why are there no honest reviews about Wealthy Affiliate?
It’s tricky. Wealthy Affiliate is a site that has tons of resources and a huge knowledge base about website building and affiliate marketing. It also has a very active community helping each other on the way.
At the same time, most of this information is hidden behind a monthly subscription plan. You can take their free program, there is some kind of free content every week and you can talk to other members freely, but then you have pay for the whole course, “the real deal”.
And here comes the trick. Wealthy Affiliate is itself an affiliate and pays a very generous commission after each person who pays for their program. So that’s why noone will ever tell you not to register to Wealthy Affiliate.
Is it worth joining Wealthy Affiliate?
It depends. As they say, whatever you do, success is the combination of three factors, time, effort and money.
If you don’t have money, you need twice as much time and effort. If you don’t have time, you will need money and push hard. If you lack the effort, you will need money and a lot of time to achieve something.
Paying for Wealthy Affiliate’s program is definitely for those who either lack the time or the effort.
I remember when I created my first website I was struggling a lot. I mean, for three consecutive months I have been reading all kinds of sources day and night, I have made all the mistakes, I have wasted a lot of time and money and in return I got no more than a handful of visitors.
It was a bit frustrating. At the same time, it was fun and I have learnt a lot, that’s why I can write all these articles with ease, I just have so much to tell you because I have failed so many times and in so many ways.
Had I joined Wealthy Affiliate back then I would have escaped a lot of frustration, but at the same time I wouldn’t have as much experience and as many lessons learned.
So it’s not obvious.
So should you or should you not?
I would say that if you are an adventurous person, have a lot of time to read and the willing to learn and doesn’t mind failing for the first 3-6 months then you don’t need to pay for this program. All of the information there at WA can be found online, but in small chunks and pieces from various sources.
At Wealthy Affiliate they baby step you through the whole process and have all the information at one place.
Outside of it you have to search for every little detail, you have to read a lot of articles, filter good and bad advices, find out where and why you fail. It’s a lot of ups and downs, the work is yours but the glory will also be yours.
On the other hand if you have the money, but don’t have the time to make all this research yourself then the program of Wealthy Affiliate can come handy.
I myself has chosen the longer road and have done everything by myself. But still, I have a registration at Wealthy Affiliate, because it’s free and I wanted to check what’s inside. I also recommend you sign up and look around, just make sure you don’t pay for it if you can’t afford.
