The best WordPress plugin in 2019 – How to…
Though it’s only the beginning of the year, we can already announce the winner of the “Best plugin of the year” competition for 2019. It’s nothing else, but a piece of old WordPress. The classic editor we have all got used to.
Because what happened? With the new version of WordPress the developer team has shipped a brand new editor, called Gutenberg. Is it a good editor? Well, decide for yourself:
Of course I know that many times people just get used to things and the old ways of doing something. But even taking this habit of mankind into account, I would still not call Gutenberg a success story and as you can see many people think the same.
So how to get rid of Gutenberg and get back the old classic editor for WordPress?
Fortunately it’s not that hard. There are already several plugins which can do the job for you. I would personally opt for the Classic Editor Plugin, because it seems to be the most official one developed by WordPress team. It has already been downloaded over 2 million times during the last couple of weeks and this plugin may be the most successful plugin in the history of WordPress. Thank you, Gutenberg! 🙂

does the template affect website traffic?
If you mean WordPress theme by template then yes, it may affect website traffic, but not directly. A nice looking template may attract more visitors (they would trust your site more if it looks more professional and thus also share it etc.) and on the other hand if your theme is faster (more optimized) then search engines will rank it higher which increases organic traffic to your website.
